Flight Arrival Time Calculator
Find the local time you'll land from your departure time and how long the flight takes, with time zones and daylight saving handled for you.
How your arrival time is worked out
Convert to Zulu, add the flight time, then convert to the local time where you land.
- 1
Departure in Zulu
08:00 DOH (UTC+3)
− 3h = 0500Z - 2
Add the flight time
0500Z + 7h 00m
= 1200Z - 3
Into local time
1200Z LHR (UTC+1)
+ 1h = 13:00 - 4

The departure time is converted to Zulu (UTC), the flight time is added, and the result is converted to the destination's local time. Working in Zulu avoids mistakes when the two airports are in different time zones or change their clocks for daylight saving on different dates.
arrival (local) = departure (local) − departure offset + flight time + arrival offset
Worked example
A flight leaves Doha (UTC+3) at 08:00 on 9 October, which is 05:00Z. After 7 hours in the air it lands at 12:00Z. London is on summer time (UTC+1) until late October, so the arrival is 13:00 local, just 5 hours after departure by the clocks.
Flying east and crossing the date line
Flying east, you lose time, so long flights often land the next day. Flying west, you gain it, and you can land before you took off by the clock. Crossing the International Date Line changes the date by a whole day as well. The calculator shows the day change in each case.
Flight times in airline schedules are gate to gate and already include taxiing. For live arrival estimates, check your airline or a flight-tracking service.
